Although it has been over two years since the fascinating Alexander McQueen passed away, his mind-blowing fashion monstrosities continue to live on, and will forever. I’ve posted several times about the fashion God’s creations in the past, but this time I felt it necessary to blog about some of the McQueen press highlights featured in Vogue, Interview, W, and I-D magazines. I found the high-fashion ensembles and the images alone to be captivating at the very least. Most adjectives can’t quite describe the amount of originality, creativity, and true understanding of couture that goes into every single one of his designs. It’s always nice to take a step back and appreciate some of the greatest designers that lay out the foundation of fashion for the rest of us.

I love this photograph; it greatly expresses one of this season’s trends (one of which we cannot stop talking about) in a more high fashion manner. Love the prints and love those vibrant colors.
Who doesn’t love a good fashion publication and above all, who doesn’t love Vogue?! If you can believe it, it’s been around since the late 1800s and has been running strong ever since. Everyone who’s anyone has graced the cover of it over the years and I think that some of them, especially the older ones, are so interesting to look at. Although there are hoards of them, I picked just a small fraction of my favorites to share. I love seeing the drawn covers and how they differ from the photographed ones. Enjoy!
