One of my modern-day style icons is without a doubt Lauren Conrad. I think that she is absolutely stunning and has such a classy style. It’s undeniable that she knows her fashion. I don’t know if you remember how I posted about Lauren launching a new collection for Paper Crown back in July. The collection is delectable and I came across this outfit she wore for “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” event in LA. The top and feminine ivory blazer come from Paper Crown, the leather leggings are Current/Elliot, and the heels are actually LC Lauren Conrad brand. That cute little pistachio clutch gives the neutral-colored outfit a great pop. I absolutely love this outfit. It’s great for work, for going out with friends, or for dinner on a Friday night with the boyfriend.

Now I know that it’s really soon to be looking into spring and summer fashion but I couldn’t keep this line to myself. I have to say, I think this takes the cake as my all time favorite ready-to-wear from a designer that I’ve seen in a long time. The colors and separate pieces are brilliant and SO feminine, I LOVE it. Each piece on its own as well as completed outfits represent looks and designs that are definitely going to be something that affordable retailers are going to try to knock off. The pistachio color that many of the models are wearing is so fresh and different. It’s a cute mix between sass and subtlety. High-waisted pencil skirts are something that you can never go wrong with and I think that the newer trend with them will be the “below the knee” high-waisted pencil skirts. This actually kind of reminds me of the trumpet skirt with a little less flare. The look is amazing, especially with that wrap belt and the lace top tucked in. I love, love, love this look so much. As for other looks in the line, the pistachio remains consistent. The pistachio blazer gives anyone’s hips a little boost and the combination of it with the Persian green is insanely fabulous! I’m even a die-hard fan of the dusty blue hue he uses throughout some of the pieces, too. AND check out that jade in the last look; staggering! Gives you a reason to look forward to spring and summer already.
