Lauren Conrad in Paper Crown, Current/Elliot, and LC Lauren Conrad brand

One of my modern-day style icons is without a doubt Lauren Conrad. I think that she is absolutely stunning and has such a classy style. It’s undeniable that she knows her fashion. I don’t know if you remember how I posted about Lauren launching a new collection for Paper Crown back in July. The collection is delectable and I came across this outfit she wore for “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” event in LA. The top and feminine ivory blazer come from Paper Crown, the leather leggings are Current/Elliot, and the heels are actually LC Lauren Conrad brand. That cute little pistachio clutch gives the neutral-colored outfit a great pop. I absolutely love this outfit. It’s great for work, for going out with friends, or for dinner on a Friday night with the boyfriend.

It’s okay to jump in with both feet on this one! Yes, it’s official, Lauren Conrad has a new collection and it’s for Paper Crown. The autumn looks are going to be for sale sooner than you know, complete with faux leather leggings that are so aesthetically pleasing you could die and go to heaven twice; also, formally introduce yourself to the layered maxi dresses that aren’t just for summer. She explains that a lot of her pieces are transitional, meaning that you can buy them now and still wear them until the summer fades but you don’t feel like they’re in for an early retirement when the leaves fall because you can pair them with other fall appropriate pieces and still pull off the look. For example, the business-casual shorts can be paired with dark tights and a cardigan for an early fall ensemble. Everything is very classy, very feminine, but nothing that I would consider glamorous or bold enough to make a new fashion statement. Everything is very down-to-earth and versatile and clothes that you want to have in your closet for casual occasions. The collection is very “Whitney Port meets Taylor Swift”. Bottom line, it’s lovely!
