Versace Atelier, one of several lines that makes up Versace, debuted their Fall 2011/Winter 2012 collection which is Asian and baroque inspired. The draping, the silhouettes, and the amazing detailing on each individual couture piece is so intricate and well-crafted that it makes you really appreciate the hoards of talent that went into designing a collection like this. Each look is painfully gorgeous. From macro-sequins to an adorable oriental mini dress to exquisite evening gowns and my personal favorite, the mini chiffon dress in green, yellow, and dragon baroque print, these garments denote couture in more ways than one. The ultra dainty and petite model is Kasia Struss. I don’t think that her perfectly blonde locks styled up into a bouffant could fit the image any more perfectly. Ahh, the brilliance of Versace.
