Hi, I’m Amanda…
Endless hours of hard work and effort are what earned me a bachelors degree in Fashion Merchandising and knowing who I am combined with a love and passion for the integrative industry of fashion have earned me my style. It’s no wonder that I aim to build my career in the field. I currently work as an assistant manager for the classic fashion company, Guess, located on the coveted Newbury St. in Boston, Massachusetts. Through all that I know, all that I’ve experienced, and all that I observe, blogging about fashion in my spare time only makes sense. This is my outlet to channel all of my fashion-oriented opinions, knowledge, and passions to allow others to see why fashion really is fun and something that I deem pretty necessary on a daily basis. Fashion is a business, fashion is an art form, and most importantly, fashion is a hobby loved by many, including myself. I want to network and connect with other fashionistas who share the same ideals as I do. I’m even open to connect with those who have completely different outlooks than me. After all, I’m pretty sure that Alexander McQueen had more opponents to his preferred designs than supporters, but that didn’t stop him in becoming a force to be reckoned with. His fashion outlook was beyond what we know as plain different, but the inspiration that he bred is undeniable. I guess that’s what fashion does, right?
Nothing on this blog is meant to offend anyone’s opposing or personal style. I base my opinions on my own style and perspective and not everyone is going to always have the same viewpoints or experiences. Any factual-based information that is pulled from sources is paraphrased and explained in my own words and the designer or company website that I obtain ideas from for my posts is always linked at the end of said post. However, most posts combine my prior knowledge of fashion with original ideas that I want to express with readers and pictures are found through various sources online. I would never post a picture and claim it as my own nor would I credit myself with discussing something that I read or saw elsewhere and went ahead and translated it into a post without mentioning the original source. I do hope you find that you can take a lot of my research and creative outlooks on trends and all that the fashion industry entails in general and use it to enhance your own style, knowledge of clothes and designers, etc. If you ever have a personal question or comment, you can email me at email@example.com. I’m here to express my feelings toward fashion, open the minds of others, and act as a consultant all rolled into one. Again, all post ideas are all completely original and produced 100% by me in my own words. I respect others and would respect that you don’t directly claim any of my blog’s posts as your own.
